Every project starts with an estimate. There will be an initial meeting with one of our design consultants and a walk through of your home to gain an understanding of how you and/or your family live and what your current needs and wants are for achieving your ideal home. The first consultation will usually be a 30-60 minute meeting where the following will be discussed with the client. * Scope of work * Timeframe * Budget. The project will only commence when you are satisfied with the design, specification and cost.
The next step is an in-depth discussion about what you are wanting to achieve and a rough budget expectation. Once the concept is agreed, we develop a detailed plan which then allows us to put together an accurate quote. We can then start the building process! (Without the concept and detailed plan, any quote would be pure guesswork and most probably wrong). This is a common issue for home-owners who engage directly with inexperienced contractors Qryptonite has processes and systems designed to deliver you a hassle-free renovation – on time and to the budget agreed.
The next phase in your renovation is to see your ideas come alive in concept designs through drawings. Concepts enable you to visualise what your renovation will look like. During this phase, you are able to make changes as we go along, ensuring your renovation is as you want it. IT IS IMPORTANT to know exactly what you want before the renovation begins, changing your mind after the building has commenced can cause numerous problems and may cost you more money.
Building is the most exciting part of a renovation project. This is where you as the Client and the building team get to work together. Our project manager keeps you informed at all times as we go along and you get to be involved in each process as you see as your visions come to life. Choosing tiles, colours, fixtures and fittings is a great way to be involved in your own project.
